This bridge crosses the River Slaney before it reaches the sea. The round tower on the left bank is in the Irish Heritage Park which traces the story of human settlement in Ireland from the Mesolithic period right up to the Norman Invasion in 1169. On the right bank is the Ferrycarrig Tower House built in the fifteenth century.
