The Camargue

The Camargue is a natural region located between the Mediterranean and the two arms of the Rhône delta. The Camargue is home to more than 400 species of birds including the greater flamingo. The famous white Camargue horses roam the marshlands in semi-feral conditions. Each Camargue village has a bullring. No blood is spilt in the Camargue bullfight and the bulls leaves to fight another day.
